CEMETERY CHESTS

The world of upcycling gives these reclaimed cigar boxes a new life as Cemetery Chests. Rather than letting these lightweight wood boxes go to waste, I remade them into something that is perfect for all your spooky needs. They would make a great addition to gothic or naturalist decor while still being a functional storage space.

Two models are available for purchase. Please see the detailed description below for particulars of each design. Both feature handmade polymer clay headstones which you can purchase under the Miniatures section in the shop.

DESIGN DETAILS:

WHAT LIES BELOW:

Clawed feet

More traditional ground textures for a modern cemetery with fall leaves, miniature dried mushrooms, and tiny faux flower bunches featuring purple blooms sprinkled through out the surface. The sides are a hand mixed dirt texture with spots of gravel to simulate the sediment layers under the graves.

The painted areas are coated with a water based polycrylic to help prevent any light wear and tear from everyday use.
